What the Hell Is This?

Degenerate Intellectuals is Jack and Will doing what they were probably going to do anyway—sitting around talking about politics, culture, faith, current events, conspiracy theories, and whatever rabbit hole somebody was dumb enough to go down that week.

Jack brings the questions, the stories, and occasionally the conversational hand grenade. Will brings a second opinion, a healthy dose of skepticism, and the occasional reminder that maybe we should verify some of this shit before saying it into a microphone.

We follow Christ. We don't pledge allegiance to a political party, politician, media outlet, government agency, or three-letter institution.

Sometimes we'll agree. Sometimes we'll disagree. Sometimes we'll discover halfway through the conversation that neither of us knows what the hell we're talking about.

That's the point.

Meet the Intellectuals

We Use That Term Loosely.

Jack

Host

The driving force behind Degenerate Intellectuals. Jack brings the topics, asks the questions, follows the rabbit holes, and isn't particularly interested in leaving a subject alone just because everyone else decided it's settled.

Strong opinions are likely. Tangents are guaranteed.

Will

Co-Host

The somewhat more laid-back half of the operation. Will serves as Jack's sounding board, offering another perspective and occasionally pointing out that the perfectly reasonable discussion they started twenty minutes ago has somehow turned into an investigation of an intelligence agency.

He isn't entirely sure how this became his job.
